Welcome
Being described as a person who
connects deeply with others-
one who is inherently nurturing,
empathetic and compassionate,
becoming a therapist was a
natural fit.
Having experienced powerful transformation as a result of my own therapeutic journey over 25 years ago, a passion was ignited within me to offer a platform for healing to others.
I work collaboratively with clients in an effort to alleviate emotional pain and suffering, alter negative thought patterns and behaviors, learn new and authentic ways of experiencing relationships and experience self-love along the way.
It is an honor and a privilege to be invited into the inner world of those who wish to engage in the valiant work of therapy. I believe every human being is worthy of dignity and respect. I believe every individual seeking counseling is able to grow, mend and heal in beautiful measure.
Thank you for your interest in Therapy with Lynda. I hope that you will find the website informative and helpful.
I wish you peace on your journey.

PERSPECTIVE
I would like to take a few moments to offer a snapshot of my perspective as a therapist so that you may better understand the way I practice therapy. Very importantly, I consider it a privilege to be a part of the therapeutic journey of each of my clients, and it is my sincere desire that clients in my care feel safe and supported as I guide and support them throughout the therapeutic process.
Â
Although oftentimes I work in session with individuals, I view my clients through a System's lens. This means that I am looking at how clients have been impacted and affected by the various systems in their lives. These systems include family of origin, nuclear family, extended family, intimate partner, peer and/or professional relationships. The functioning of these systems contribute to one's sense of well-being, or lack thereof, in powerful ways. Viewing clients through a System’s lens means that time is spent exploring how experiences within these systems have shaped relationship dynamics, as well as individual behaviors, beliefs and feelings of self-worth and value.
Â
Clients under my care will learn and grow as they work towards achieving goals that were either the catalyst for therapy or that are identified along the way. I believe that learning and growing are continual processes and consider it an honor to bear witness to the growth and transformation of my clients.
